Perished Concrete Stone Roof Changed To Bradstone Conservation Slates

Heritage Roofing Services recently completed a full roof replacement on a property in Stamford, where the original concrete stone roof had reached the end of its lifespan. The current concrete stone roof had areas where it had perished and the level of disrepair meant a new roof was the best option for this property.

What Work Was Undertaken?
The roof was sympathetically restored using Bradstone Conservation slates – chosen for their traditional appearance and long-term durability, in keeping with the property’s heritage character.
-
Full removal of the existing perished concrete stone roof
-
Installation of new high-performance roof insulation to improve energy efficiency
-
Fitting of new treated timber roof battens to meet modern standards
-
Careful installation of Bradstone Conservation slates to achieve an authentic, heritage-style finish
This project reflects our commitment to craftsmanship and conservation, delivering both structural integrity and timeless appeal. Another quality restoration that we are extremely proud of, delivered by the Heritage Roofing Services team.
